Overview

The Experiential Learning Platform integrates video-based instruction with hands-on activities, enhancing student engagement, concept retention, and practical understanding.

The Problem: Passive Learning Limits Concept Retention

Conventional education methods rely heavily on rote memorisation and passive learning, making it difficult for students to apply theoretical concepts in real-world situations. Classroom lessons often feel uninspiring, leading to low engagement and poor long-term knowledge retention.

Even with video-based training sessions, the learning experience remained a one-way process, where concepts were simply explained without interactive engagement. While these sessions showed short-term improvement in learning outcomes, students struggled to retain the knowledge over time.

The challenge of knowledge retention became even greater when the content lacked engagement and failed to capture students’ attention, making it difficult for them to connect with and internalise the material effectively.

The Backstory: Bridging the Gap Between Theory & Practice

Recognizing the shortcomings of traditional teaching methods, we set out to transform the way students learn by embedding experiential learning into the classroom. Our vision was to go beyond textbooks and lectures, allowing students to see, do, and experience concepts firsthand through structured, hands-on lesson plans.

To ensure scalability and accessibility across all schools, we designed our approach to be resource friendly. The experiential learning activities were carefully crafted to utilise readily available materials – things that could be found in students’ backpacks or within school premises – eliminating the need for specialised equipment.

Through our research, we also discovered that many digital learning solutions in classrooms failed because they placed a heavy burden on teachers to integrate and manage them. Our priority was to build a simple, intuitive system that teachers could easily navigate and implement without additional strain, making experiential learning truly effective and seamless in any classroom.

The Solution: A Hands-On Experiential Learning Platform for Students

We developed an experiential learning platform that seamlessly integrates video-based instruction with hands-on classroom activities, making learning more engaging and interactive. To ensure the program complements regular classroom schedules without disruption, we designed it to include only 25 to 30 sessions per subject per year.

Rather than simply aligning with the prescribed syllabus, our primary focus was on ensuring that students truly grasp core concepts, fostering deeper understanding and long-term retention instead of rote memorisation.

Our Solution

  • Structured Lesson Plans – A watch & do approach, where students first watch an engaging video, followed by the software prompting them with interactive questions to reinforce learning.
  • Activity-Based Learning – Instead of memorizing theories, students perform hands-on activities using readily available classroom materials, making learning tangible and practical.
  • Cool Talk Videos – Crisp 2-minute animated videos featuring specially designed characters who guide students through real-world scenarios, demonstrating how to apply the concepts they learn.
  • Interactive Quiz – A short quiz at the end of each session ensures concept validation, reinforcing knowledge and measuring comprehension effectively.
By integrating engaging storytelling, interactive exercises, and real-world applications, our experiential learning platform makes education more effective, memorable, and fun for students

Key Features of the Experiential Learning Platform

  • Structured Lesson Plans – Each session follows a “Watch & Do” approach, where students first engage with a video lesson and then participate in a hands-on activity. The software also prompts students with interactive questions to encourage critical thinking and engagement.
  • Activity-Based Learning – Learning goes beyond memorisation. Students perform practical activities using everyday materials available in the classroom, reinforcing concepts through experience rather than theory.
  • Cool Talk Videos – Crisp, 2-minute animated explainer videos featuring engaging characters that place students in real-world scenarios, helping them understand how to apply their newly learned knowledge in everyday life.
  • Concept Validation Through Quizzes – Each session concludes with a short quiz, ensuring that students not only participate but also comprehend and retain key concepts.
  • Classroom-Friendly Integration – Designed to fit seamlessly into school schedules with only 25 to 30 sessions per subject per year, ensuring minimal disruption while maximising learning impact.
  • Concept-Driven Approach, Not Just Syllabus-Based – Prioritising deep understanding of core principles over rote adherence to curriculum frameworks, making learning more meaningful and application-driven.
  • Teacher-Friendly & Easy to Implement – Unlike complex digital solutions, our platform is intuitive and effortless for teachers to integrate, reducing workload while enhancing classroom engagement.

Results & Impact

  • Adopted by 400+ Schools Nationwide – Our experiential learning platform is empowering educators and students across the country, driving better learning outcomes.
  • 900+ Structured Video Lessons – Developed engaging, curriculum-aligned video lessons covering Science, Math, and English, ensuring comprehensive subject coverage.
  • 30% Higher Concept Retention – Students demonstrated a significant improvement in concept retention immediately after sessions, reinforcing the effectiveness of our approach.
  • Long-Term Learning Gains – Beyond just short-term retention, we observed that students retained concepts even longer than expected. This was driven by peer discussions and post-session engagement, where students naturally revisited and reinforced their learning through collaborative conversations, enhancing overall classroom knowledge.
